Baby Girl...

On Saturday John's Grandparents took us to Micke Grove Zoo and the Fun Town.

First, We spent some time at the Micke Grove Zoo which is really small but big enough for Brysen. He loves seeing the animals but seems to think that every Zoo he goes to must have the same animals. So, when there were no snakes or Bears he was a little upset. He kept saying that he wanted to go to the other zoo...

After the zoo we walked down to the rides where Brysen went on his very first Roller Coaster (with Mommy) and his very first ride alone... Very Cute Pictures! He was so brave however at first he said: " NO LIKE IT" when the the Roller Coaster started moving. I think he went on every ride and even one or two more than once. He had a great time as did we. He is getting so big and he amazes us everyday! It's hard to believe that our little baby boy is big enough to go on Carnival rides alone...

I hope everyone had a very Happy 4th of July!!!

We started our day off by just hanging out at home for the morning. After being lazy for half the day we got ready and headed to the mall for the 4th of July sales. Both kids got some new things and were very happy!

After spending some time at the mall we headed back to Dan Amma and Papa's house so they could see Brysen and Addisyn in their 4th of July attire. We took some pictures and played for a while before the 4 of us went to the 4th of July Celebration at Big League Dreams Stadium in Manteca.
The Stadium was very nice. They had one part of the Stadium for just kid's and was seperate from the adult side with all the alcohol and band's playing. John carried Addisyn in the Snugli for a while so Brysen and I went on the little carnival rides. They had Tea Cups, Choo Choo Train and Swings. I really didn't want to get on the Tea Cups because they make me so sick but I had so much fun watching Brysen have a blast...We then traveled over to the Choo Choo Train for a little ride around the track. I tried to talk him into going on the swings but he said no way unless Mommy could go. They were only for little kid's so I wasn't able to go either.

Once Brysen and I were done on the rides we made our way over to the Bounce house where I think Brysen could have stayed for hours jumping around. Addisyn got hungry so I found a nice shady spot on the grass and her and I hung out while John continued to watch Brysen jump.

When Brysen was finished playing we went up to The Grill for dinner and watched some baseball. We had planned to stay until the end for the Fireworks Show but Addisyn got really tired and I wasn't feeling well so we left early and went home to do a few fireworks. Brysen had a blast and we are continuing to do Sparklers every night.

Even with the very long day and a couple of grumpy kid's I think we managed to have a pretty good 4th of July!!!

Backyard Fun!!!

Well it was finally nice enough outside the other night without a bunch of smoke from all the fires that we decided to go play out in the backyard...

We had a very nice time running around, playing soccer, swinging, pulling weeds, eating popsicles, playing with the hose and Brysen's Diego Rescue Water Pack and hanging out.... Addisyn had her very first taste of a popsicle. I don't think she was very sure of it.

Brysen played in the water with John and Addisyn enjoyed being pushed on the swing by her big brother...Hope you enjoy the pics...

Brysen and Addisyn's swimming adventure...

I have been so bad at blogging that I have a ton to catch up and they are not in order but at least they will all be here....

2 weeks ago when it was super duper hot Brysen wanted to go swimming in his little pool in the backyard. He kept bugging me about it so I finally gave in and decided to go out there... Now, like I said it was super hot so I had to figure out how I could get Addisyn out there as well but keep her totally in the shade... I moved our patio table out into the grass and put the umbrella up and tilted it over the pool... There was just enough shade for Addisyn to hang out in the water and still be in the shade.

I had her propped up against the side of the pool which was fine until Brysen decided that he was going to start jumping around and splashing...Addisyn slid under the water so that did not last very long... I ended up going in and getting her bathtub and filling it up with water and putting it inside the swimming pool...Both of the kids thought it was great and it was so fun for me to watch..

Brysen pretended that Addisyn was a fish and he was going to catch her with his blow up fishing pole...He loved showing her all of the toys... I can't wait until she is big enough to play with him...Maybe next summer!

Brysen is quite the little swimmer now and loves going under water looking for treasure however this pool wasn't quite deep enough but he made it work...

Brysen's swimming fun with his Cousins...

A couple of weekends ago John's mom had a BBQ with some family and friends....

We had tons of awesome food and desserts....

Brysen had a great day playing with his cousins Elizabeth (4) Destiny (2) and Aaliyah (1). I think they spent almost the entire day swimming in the pool... He really has a blast with them and they all get along so great.

My Grandparents from Arizona came to visit for a week!

Well for the last week the kids and I visited with my grandparents from Arizona. This was Addisyn's first time meeting her Great Grandparents so it was a pretty exciting time for us. John joined us on Friday for the weekend....

Brysen loves Grandma and Grandpa Klentz and loved to play with them. They brought Brysen a couple of cool little books that have music to them that he just thought was so great!

While they were here we did a bunch of shopping, hanging out, playing and eating lot's of great food!

My parents took Brysen to the Folsom Zoo on Saturday and to ride the little train there. I don't have any pics from that on my computer yet but I will try soon...Brysen loves the zoo so that was a great treat for him. He also got to pet a Boa Constrictor. My mom said she thought there was no way he was going to go near it but he went right up and started petting it....Brave little man we have!

I am posting a picture of the kid's with my grandparents...It for some reason came out really blurry but it is still cute...

The week went by so fast but we enjoyed the time we got to spend with family and can't wait until next summer when we see them again...

Addisyn's Eye Exam

Addisyn had her 3rd eye exam under GA at UC Davis this morning. Everything went perfect. The DR. came out and told me that her pressures have gone down to 19-20 and that all of her measurements were great. He said that there is nothing that needs to be done and to make an appointment for the end of September or beginning of October in his office....That means that she is doing awesome and won't need another exam until at least then... We are so happy with this news!!! Things seem to really be looking up for her....

Yesterday we went down another step on her Phenobarbital. She has done awesome with the weaning and has now been seizure free for 81 days!
